About Us
I grew up in a blacksmith shop on the banks of the beautiful Bitterroot River in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. It was every boys dream. It was not uncommon for me to be grinding on a stove and watching the hatch outside the shop window. Within two minutes I could be catching trout below the shop, still covered in black dust. I have been working with metal artistically all my life, it was just natural that the time I spend outdoors would inspire the designs that I eventually handcrafted.
Tim Campbell of Ironhaus has been handcrafting iron creations since 1978, with fireplace enclosures being his forte. He comes from an artistic background, building stoves and fireplace inserts with his family until 1981. After moving to Arizona, he started a successful business building fireplace doors and fixtures, specializing in natural uses of steel, aging, distressing and patinas. Using anvil and forge, he and a team of dedicated Artisans handcraft each enclosure with their own unique characteristics. Now in the beautiful Montana mountains, Ironhaus continues the timeless tradition of providing exceptional design and quality in every wrought iron piece.
Thirty years later, and no less inspired, I still find great satisfaction in implementing new designs and hearing the satisfied comments from our customers. This is why we named our new and exciting "Ironhaus Handcrafted Fireplace Systems" product line after some of the special areas in our region that inspire me and as a result inspire my work.
I have a very talented crew of artists and craftsmen and the passion is still very much alive, the same passion that you will see in every Ironhaus product.

Fire has always captivated man. The earliest written records some 6,000 years ago describe the blacksmith’s trade of using anvil, hammer, and fire to craft his wares. Now, as then, Ironhaus continues the tradition of quality and durability in each individualized wrought iron creation. Skilled Ironhaus Artisans build a full line of fire screen and glass enclosures, handcrafted especially for the discriminating tastes of todays custom home owner.
