How do I choose my masonry fireplace door's fit?

A picture says a thousand words.  See descriptions below to choose your masonry Elite fireplace door fit.  If you still have questions, email customerservice@ironhaus.com with a photo of your fireplace attached.  Our sales team can help you determine the best fireplace door application for your masonry fireplace.  For a complete quote as well, include your fireplace's measurements of the opening to the nearest 1/8" (left side height, right side height, center height, top width, bottom width).

Overlap Fit is the most common.  Choose this when the fireplace door is larger than the opening and the door can overlap brick, stone, etc.  For overlap fit, expect the door to be 1 1/2" higher and 3" wider than your fireplace measurements.

Inside Fit is needed if you have rough or protruding brick and you need the fireplace door to fit inside the opening.  Therefore, it will be flush against the stone or brick.  For inside fit, expect the door height and width to equal your fireplace measurements.
