Mission 2 Style

The Mission II Style is inspired by the Mission Revival movement in architecture and the decorative arts made popular in the early part of the 19th century and influenced by the Spanish missions established in the California region nearly a century earlier. The Mission style is closely related to the Arts & Crafts Movement and is typified by the designs of Gustav Stickley who used exacting lines and precise proportions. The Mission II Style reflects this design aesthetic. With it’s simple, yet defined lines, and elegant, but laid-back feeling the Mission II Style defines one aspect of the classic American style. With the Mission II Style we’ve added an extra set of bars, exemplifying the importance of line and structure to this style.
